As the Program Director for Cincy Reef, I am mostly responsible for organizing the annual frag swap. We worked really hard to make this our best swap yet and we think it was! We estimated around 500 people over the course of the day. The raffles and silent auction went smoothly and there was plenty of hobbyist action on the floor! We had 11 vendors, plus the Newport Aquarium‘s mobile shark touch tank! We are already planning for next year, so keep an eye out for the details!
Finally, here are some pictures of my latest coral acquisitions. Some of these are from the swap, some are from prior to the swap since I knew I would be busy.

Here are the pictures I promised of the Swiss Guard Basslet and Chalk Bass I bought last week. I just saw the Chalk Bass tonight for the first time in a week. LOL The Swiss Guard comes out pretty often but gets chased off by the Powder Brown Tang.

Today we took a trip to The Coral Ranch with Cincy Reef. They gave us a sale on clean-up-crew critters, which are mostly snails and hermit crabs. So I got an assortment of clean-up crew and two new fish! One of the fish is a Swiss Guard Basslet, which I pre-ordered. The other is a Chalk Bass, which was an impulse buy because they ran out of cleaner shrimp. Anyway, the new fish and inverts are in my tank now! I’ll post some more pictures when I am able.
